Team 17 Announces Moving Out 2, Hokko Life Console Release, and More at Future Games Show

Team17 brought a ton of goodies to today’s Future Games Show Powered by Mana, streaming a highlights reel that includes new game announcements, release dates, and more. We have a lot to cover, but we promise you won’t be disappointed. Check out the Team17 Future Games Show lineup below and read on for more.

First up, reel Team17 announced Moving Out 2, a sequel to 2020’s Moving Out. The chaotic and hilarious co-op game will be released soon, according to the trailer, but we know exactly what kind of vibe it will bring. It looks like Moving Out 2 will feature new characters, as the main characters from the original game might mysteriously be missing. It’s unclear what happens there, but we do know the game will feature tons of wacky physics and fast-paced puzzles, so be sure to prepare your team of friends.

Age of Darkness: Final Stand is now available via Steam Early Access (opens in a new tab), so you might want to check this out if you’re a fan of dark fantasy and real-time survival strategy. The game tasks you with building and defending humanity’s last stand against swarms of nightmares (that doesn’t sound right).

The witch knight (opens in a new tab)an upcoming Metroidvania about, well, a Knight Witch, has gotten a release date window, and it’s coming just in time for Halloween: Fall 2022. The gorgeous art style of an adorable titular character can cast spells based on maps and make important decisions to help her save her home from an invasion of war golems (which doesn’t sound good either).

Marauders (opens in a new tab)an upcoming tactical FPS where you play as a space pirate, has also officially gotten a release window – and it’s too coming in October. You can work alone or team up with up to three other players to loot, craft weapons, and scavenge the things needed to ensure your survival in the final frontier.

We already knew Bravery and Greed would arrive in Fall 2022, but it’s great to see the retro side-scroller again that features four-person co-op. We also already knew that Hokko Life, the Animal Crossing lookalike that was previously only available in early access Steam (opens in a new tab), would launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch in September. But it’s still great to see all the features at full launch, including incredibly involved clothing customization and adorable animal friends.

The Team 17 reel at the Future Games Show also included the point-and-click adventure Sunday Gold news (a game that debuted at the Future Games Show in June 2022), the release of the grueling action-RPG Thymesia, and more. Again.

If you’re looking for more games to check out that were featured in today’s Future Games Show, take a look at our official Steam page.
