Splatoon 3 unveils a new pre-order bonus

Splaton 3 isn’t expected to release until the end of the year, but GameStop has already announced a pre-order bonus for the Nintendo Switch game. Fans who choose to pre-order Splaton 3 from the retailer will receive a sticker sheet based on the game upon release. Overall, the sticker sheet is a fairly minor incentive compared to some of GameStop’s previous offerings. However, for those already planning to buy the game from GameStop, this could be an added incentive to pre-order it!

An image of the sticker sheet can be found in the GameStop Tweet embedded below. The game can be pre-ordered from the retailer here.

Now that GameStop has revealed its pre-order bonus for Splaton 3, it will be interesting to see if other retailers follow suit. Usually, retailers tend to wait closer to the game’s actual release date, but it’s possible that Walmart, Best Buy, and Target will follow suit. Until the game’s release date gets closer, Splatoon fans might want to wait and see if other retailers have something better to offer!

Splaton 3 is easily one of Nintendo’s most anticipated games this year. The franchise is relatively new to Nintendo, but the series has grown significantly in popularity since its debut on Wii U in 2015. The original Splatoon was one of the Wii U’s only hits, but the sequel was even better on Nintendo Switch. From what we’ve seen so far, Splaton 3 looks like it will feature the same core gameplay as Splaton 2, with some notable modifications. Players can choose their starting point before each match, and the game will include a number of new weapon and clothing options.

Splaton 3 is set to release on September 9, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. In the meantime, readers can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here.
