Mario Party Pokémon Nintendo 64 Switch Announcement

While the Nintendo Switch continues to bring exciting new titles to its platform every year, one of its best features is the Nintendo 64 Games Library made available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers. Currently, iconic titles such as Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64 and more are part of the expanding catalog. During this week’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced the addition of nine more titles.

As previously discussed, the fan favorite GoldenEye 007 will come to both Nintendo Switch and Xbox Game Pass with online play. Beyond that, Pokemon Stage 1 and 2especially without its crucial transfer function, Mario Party 1 through 3, Pilot Wings 64, 1080° Snowboarding and Excitebike 64 are all heading to the Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately, fans will have to be patient as the games don’t have specific release dates yet. However, they have been grouped into 2022 and 2023 release years. At the end of this year, Pilot Wings 64, mario party and Mario Party 2 are all launched. In 2023, Mario Party 3, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, 1080° Snowboarding and Excitebike 64 will come out. All of these Nintendo 64 titles will be available through the Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack service exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

In other Nintendo Switch news, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was officially revealed as the sequel to Breath of Savage.
