Late last month, it was discovered that Koei Tecmo’s Tokyo Game Show lineup would include a new game from developer Atelier Gust.
Now, in an update, the company has shared a 25th anniversary trailer for the Atelier series – not only highlighting the long history of this RPG series, but also teasing a brand new game at the very end – y figured out what appears to be the first glimpse of the next chapter.
While it’s unclear exactly what this new Atelier game might be, there are a lot requests for Ryza 3. At this point though, it could be a new sequel or even a whole new standalone adventure.
Fans can expect to find out more at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which kicks off next week on September 16. Other Koei Tecmo games that will be featured alongside this one include Nobunaga’s ambition: Hadou and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
The most recent entry in the Atelier series was Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of Mysterious Dream earlier this year. It follows Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy in 2021.
