Discounts on Nintendo Switch game sales Bethesda Games for QuakeCon

ZeniMax Media’s QuakeCon kicks off tomorrow, August 18, and runs through Saturday, August 20. Bethesda released the full schedule earlier in the month, and while a few big games are obviously missing from the lineup, there are plenty of other online events for Bethesda and Id Software fans to discover.

However, Bethesda isn’t the only company with something going on this week. Nintendo is celebrating QuakeCon with deep discounts on Bethesda games through the Nintendo eShop. The sale runs until 11:59 p.m. on the 22nd and includes discounts of 75% or more on some of the publisher’s biggest releases.

There aren’t many Bethesda games on Switch, with Skyrim being the only title developed by Bethesda on the platform. However, the award-winning RPG is currently 50% off, dropping from $59.99 to $29.99. Meanwhile, QuakeCon’s namesake, earthquake, dropped from $9.99 to just $3.99, a 60% reduction. Unfortunately, Earthquake 2 and Quake 3 Arena still hasn’t arrived on the Nintendo Switch, so Switch users will have to look elsewhere if they want to check out the full trilogy.

Additionally, fans can grab MachineGames’ Wolfenstein 2 for 80% off, from $39.99 to just $7.99. They can also get the standard edition of the cooperative FPS Wolfenstein: Young Blood at 70% off or the Deluxe Edition at 75% off. That works out to $5.99 for the standard edition or $7.49 for Deluxe, compared to the usual prices of $19.99 and $29.99.

However, Loss fans are the real winners of this Switch sale. Destiny (1993), Doom 2 (Classic)and Conviction 64 are all 60% off. This equates to only $1.99 for each game. Meanwhile, Doom 3 is $2.99 ​​while the 2016 Loss reboot is $9.99, after 75% discounts. Alternatively, fans can pick up Destiny (1993), Conviction 2, Doom 3and Destiny (2016) in the Doom Slayers Collection.
