Among those discounts, Amazon has all kinds of video game deals at its annual sales event. We’ve rarely seen any PS5 games get the discount treatment, and here a bunch of launch and higher PS5 games are slashed to $ 50 or less. Consider getting yourself Demon’s Souls, Sack Boy, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, or more, until the deals last.
Nintendo Switch Prime Day offers
Proprietary Switch games rarely go on sale, but a lot of them are currently at a discount. If you pass up these deals, it might be a while before you review prices like this.
Xbox Prime Day Deals
By far the best Xbox deal right now is the deal that gives you three months of Game Pass Ultimate for $ 29.99. This service gives you instant access to hundreds of Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One games. Amazon Prime Free Trial
The first thing you need to know about Prime Day 2021 is that you can’t get any of the discounts if you’re not a Prime member.
Fortunately, you can sign up for a 30 day free trial from Premier. Once done, you can take full advantage of any Prime Day offers you want. Better yet, if you choose not to continue your membership, you can cancel before the end of the 30 days. You will still get discounts on what you bought, but you won’t have to pay anything at all.
Even if you’re not eligible for the free trial, maybe because you’ve used it before, you can still pay a month of Prime ($ 12.99) to get the Prime Day offers and then cancel after that. the end of the sale.
When is the first day?
Prime Day is a two-day event this year. It takes place from June 21 to 22. Here are the specific times for Prime Day:
- The first day begins – June 21 at 12:01 am PT / 3:02 am ET
- End of the first day – June 22 at 11:59 p.m. PT / June 23 at 2:59 a.m. ET
PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offers

PS5 and Xbox Series X | S consoles during Prime Day
It might go without saying, but since Sony and Microsoft can’t keep the latest generation of gaming consoles in stock, there’s no way they’ll offer discounts on them.
It’s a bummer, but it’s possible that Amazon will receive a replenishment during the event – although that’s not a sure thing. If Amazon gets a restock, it will likely happen out of the blue and just show up on the site without warning. This is how Amazon has put the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S back in stock since their launch.
Prime Day sales from other retailers
Other retailers often hold sales at the same time as Amazon’s Prime Day sale. To that end, it’s certainly wise to keep your eyes peeled for discounts on video games at places like Walmart and GameStop. In fact, Best Buy’s Better Deal and Walmart’s Sale are already live and running until June 22.
